On September 30, 2024, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Technical Assistance (TA) providers, and community leaders facilitated an “Unsheltered East-West Virtual Workshop” focused on supporting communities in compassionately addressing unsheltered homelessness from a person-centered perspective and through cross-collaborative partnerships.

Join us at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time – or 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time – for the Unsheltered East-West Virtual Workshop, Part II, on December 12, 2024!

Part II of the East-West Virtual Workshop will continue the conversation on effective strategies emerging nationwide to stop and prevent criminalization of unsheltered homelessness, to prioritize and promote investment in inclusive housing solutions and accessible support services, and to help ensure individuals and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness are treated with dignity and respect.

Join us online via Zoom on Thursday, December 12, 2024, to explore a range of innovative strategies communities are employing to enhance street outreach practices, humanize data collection, and strengthen partnerships for more comprehensive approaches to address and prevent unsheltered homelessness, particularly among highly vulnerable groups of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

Additionally, community presenters from different regions will share current challenges and highlight the work they have done locally to effectively, efficiently, and equitably address unsheltered homelessness.
