Important Notice: Upcoming HMIS Login & Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Update

Hello Maine HMIS Users,

WellSky (formerly known as ServicePoint) is targeting to upgrade the Community Services login process to a more secure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system in the next few weeks. As part of this update, all users will transition to WellSky ID, which uses your email address instead of your current username to sign in.

Important: A valid email address will be required for all users for our upcoming Community Services 5.18.03 release, where the login process will switch to WellSky ID. Any users missing email addresses should update their profiles before the upgrade. Existing users will receive an activation email to their Community Services site. Users will then have 7 days to utilize this login link. Users without a valid email address will not be able to log in after the upgrade. If you have more than one WellSky account, you will need to have a separate working email for each WellSky account.

What to Expect After the Upgrade

  • Log in using your email address instead of your username.
  • Choose from several MFA options, including email, text message, authenticator app, or a security key.
  • Reset passwords and unlock accounts through the self-service WellSky ID Portal.
  • SAP BusinessObjects access will remain the same, but users must have an email address to complete the migration.

We’ll share additional details and the implementation timeline as they become available.

Thank you,

The Maine HMIS Team
