Erin opened today’s meeting by presenting the motion to approve the last meeting minutes. Julian motioned to approve minutes. Tony seconded the motion. As no one opposed the motion & no one abstained, the minutes from the last meeting were unanimously approved as written.

Topics for Today’s Meeting

  1. Final Review of Housing Provider Guideline Document -Joe Locke
  2. Youth Coordinated Entry Design – Changing the ROI / Mainstream to match – Allison from Shaw House or Joe Locke
  3. Coordinated Entry Assessment Tool Review – Joe Locke

Review Coordinated Entry Assessment

-Prioritization score – need for training.

– Concern for length of assessment, and the importance of collecting information.

– Discussion on the latest updated version of the CE assessment.

Erin tested for consensus to accept the changes and bring these edits to the Board with the recommendation that they come up with a plan to communicate their support to non-CoC funded programs.

Housing Providers – Case Conferencing

The process for accessing location-specific resources, and HUDs definition of Housing Providers attending case conferencing.

  • Will be creating a formal process regarding Case Conferencing – Hub Housing Providers.
  • Thoughts on a Training Video based on “What case conferencing” looks like.  – looking for a good balance given the confidentiality for protected personal information typically shared at these meetings.

Confusion on HUD TA – Meetings be open as best practices.

  • Concern for Participants Privacy on information shared. – more discussion to come.

Youth Coordinated Entry Design –
Changing the ROI / Mainstream to match

  • Joe Locke, Allison Small, and Leah McDonald have been working together on the Youth Coordinated Entry System design and beginning steps for implementing these changes.

Youth CE will be going mainstream with Coordinated Entry Design. Changes were made to the ROI. – This is being recommended to the MCoC.

Coordinated Entry Assessment Review:

  • Updates on the Coordinated Entry Assessment changes:
    • Formatting
    • Military Service has been moved up into the first section.
    • No changes to Rapid Rehousing language.
    • Contact information moved up to first section of the assessment

Erin called for consensus – approval of the latest draft of CE Assessment changes. Motion Passed.
