Thank you to all who have submitted applications to be Chair of a MCoC Committee. The work of the committees and the Chairs are critical to the success of the MCoC and to our collective ability to ensure that for those who experience homelessness in Maine, it is rare and brief. In reviewing the applications that have been submitted, we recognize that we need more time to secure additional nominations for Chairs. We need a broader submission of candidates, and we have not received nominations yet for all committees.
- For those reasons we are extending the deadline to allow for more candidates to apply to June 30th.
- We will be encouraging chairs of new committees to spend time during the month of July to reach out to previous leadership of the committee they are involved with.
- August 1st we will be looking to reconstitute all committees and move forward with their work.
Please submit your name, committee of interest, and as short narrative outlining your interest and experience in working toward the system level outcomes connected to the committee of interest to cocgovernancestructure@mainehousing.org
