Reinforcing the Homelessness Crisis Response System: Lessons learned from Seattle & King County (#2)
Join
partners from the CDC and from Seattle & King County to learn more about
the national COVID-19 response and what Seattle & King County are doing to
support the existing homelessness crisis response system, including for those
living unsheltered.
Also, as we have been getting many requests for more primary source
materials from Seattle King County we have established a new link that
consolidates all currently available resources and documents from Seattle King
County:

Finally, here is a HUD chart that describes NON-CONGREGATE APPROACHES TO SHELTERING FOR COVID-19 HOMELESS RESPONSE
Continuums of Care considering non-congregate approaches to sheltering people who are homeless that are symptomatic or in high risk categories, such as seniors or people with chronic illness, should consider the following guidance when designing local approaches. Coordination with public health partners is essential in design, resource investment and staffing considerations.
