As you may be aware,  House America is a federal initiative, led by HUD Secretary Marcia L. Fudge, in which HUD and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) are inviting mayors, county leaders, Tribal nation leaders, and governors into a national partnership to use the historic investments provided through the American Rescue Plan to address the crisis of homelessness through a Housing First approach.

Through the American Rescue Plan, communities now have historic housing resources including recovery funds, emergency housing vouchers, HOME grants, investments to preserve and protect housing on tribal lands to help more Americans obtain the safety of a stable home.  House America provides communities with the focus, resolve, and technical know-how needed to deploy these resources to maximize impact.

The leadership and staff of HUD’s Region I is inviting you to join us for a short webinar on January 25, 2022 from 1-2:30 to learn more and see where your community can fit in as we work collaboratively to eliminate homelessness across New England.

The Registration Link for the event is  http://www.hud.gov/emarc/index.cfm?fuseaction=emar.registerEvent&eventId=4178&update=N and will close on January 24, 2022.

Thank you for your support,

Rob Forti, Deputy Regional Administrator and the HUD Region I Team
